Summary
đ (great). đ (could use improvement). đ (needs fixing).
đ Very good for finding information across different papers and quickly glancing through dozens of papers.
đ Customized columns are great.
đ Notebook interface is great too, especially the feature for creating new tables from selected papers.
đ Cost transparency is awesome.
đ Previous experience with spreadsheets led me to believe that I could edit cells and have more fine-grained control.
đ Often ran into âNot mentioned (the abstract âŚ)â. But I would rather have this than have a hallucinated result.
đ Buggy. Contributed the most friction-wise and emotion-wise. I just felt on edge from the outset.
Setup
- I am a software engineer who wants to get an overview of the search indexing space.
- I have a few papers that I would like to quickly glance through.
Onboarding
- Canât click the card
- The âcontinue with xxxâ is in the middle of the card, so it wasnât immediately clear to me how to choose a plan
- Even when I click Basic, the ring around the Plus card doesnât move over to the Basic card.
- I was scared of having chosen the Plus plan when I really wanted the Basic plan đ¨.
- Tried to go back to a previous stage, just because I realized I made the choice too hastily.
- Looked like a generic text box - I wasnât sure if the âExtract dataâ or âList of conceptsâ features were choosable
- Then I noticed âSelect a first stepâ, which made me confused. First?
- Mini-prompts confused me; are they part of the step or just general? Only when I switched around the steps did I realize that they were tied to the step being performed.
- The text data isnât preserved when you switch to a different step.
- That made me annoyed đ .
- The coin icons are really nice!
- Extract data doesnât have the coin icon. How much does it cost?
- The sidebar button seems like it doesnât do anything.
- I thought that it would close the sidebar immediately.
- Once I navigated off of the button, the sidebar closed.
